Director Biography - Moses Parlindungan Ompusunggu

Moses is a non-fiction filmmaker and writer with a particular interest in the possibilities of powerful stories in everyday life. He is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

His debut short-doc about Covid-19 isolation, “memories/fortress” (2020), has been screened in various festivals across the world and was nominated for Best Short Documentary at the 2020 edition of Festival Film Dokumenter in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. His short experimental film "A Sincere Death", which deals with the melancholy of observing the Holy Week during the second year of Covid-19 pandemic, was premiered by The Jakarta Post in April 2021.
