AVERY LOOSER is a writer, director, and producer with a focus on female-led narratives in front of and behind the camera. Her personal work has been recognized by the National Film Festival for the Talented Youth, SXSW, and Sun Valley Film Festival, while her branded and documentary works have been featured on ABC and CBS. Her screenplays have been recognized by the Scriptation Showcase, Humanitas Prize, ScreenCraft, and Sundance Institute as a second-round finalist for the 2023 Development Track.

In addition to filmmaking, Avery runs her own media company, BraveMouse LLC, which focuses on empowering women in front of and behind the camera with majority female production teams.

Avery is a proud alumna of NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Kanbar Institute of Film and Television, earning her BFA in Film and Television with a Minor in Producing, Class of 2022, as a University Scholar and Summa Cum Laude. During her time at NYU, Avery received the 2020 Josh Goldfaden Award for her contributions to the expository writing program.
