My name is Austin McEuen. I’m from Bryant, AR. I graduated with a Master of Fine Arts in Filmmaking from The University of Central Arkansas. I am a huge film buff in general, but my favorite genre is horror. I have thus far written and directed five short films, and I’m currently in the beginning stages of creating my first feature film. I plan to keep making horror films and hopefully become well-known in that genre. I would love to create new and different sub-genres within the horror genre itself. I also love the idea of teaching—taking the knowledge I’ve gained and sharing it with others is something I know I’d really enjoy. Filmmaking is something I am and always have been passionate about, so no matter which way I’m involved, I know it’s where I need to be.
