Auri Jackson is a writer-director based in Los Angeles. She is currently a Video Producer at BuzzFeed with a focus on the environment, known for “I Tried To Make Zero Trash For 30 Days” and "I Got 100 People To Stop Sucking." Jackson is a zero-waste enthusiast and hosts workshops in the LA area about how to move towards a zero-waste lifestyle. She was trained as a Climate Reality Leader by Al Gore and his foundation in 2018. Her last short, The Spot, premiered at the Marfa Film Festival and won a craft award in screenwriting and the sole Faculty Commendation in Comedy at NYU's First Run Film Festival. She also wrote and produced a web series called Ladywood with Dani Adaliz.
