Wei Ying is currently an MFA candidate in the documentary film program at Wake Forest University, and is a producer, editor and cinematographer at Wrought Iron Productions. She has a bachelor’s degree in history from Renmin University of China. Before she came to the United States, she interned at Dongyang News Station and was an assistant producer for a documentary series on Chinese history that aired on The Movie Channel of China Central Television. Besides documentary, her passions include various styles of music, fiction films and life.
