ANDREW T. HORNG is a Taiwanese-American director, screenwriter, and producer. He is also the founder of Total RunTime Productions, winner of 26 festival awards since 2019. As a university student in Illinois, Horng directed the filming of Roger Ebert's festival, EBERTFEST. He then departed for Los Angeles and worked in various departments on MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE, PRISON BREAK, TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES, HOUSE M.D., and CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM. Out of the seven competitions Horng has written for, he has achieved finalist rankings in all seven, including NYC MIDNIGHT's international competition of over 1700+ screenwriters. Horng's stories span multiple genres and are often about family and identity. THE BEST GIFT was one of them, placing 3rd out of 159 film entries at the 48 HOUR FILM PROJECT competition. TAMMY was another, airing on PBS and nominated for "Best Narrative Short" from over 800+ submissions at the GUAM INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL. His work has screened at New York's TRIBECA FILM CENTER and Hollywood's TCL CHINESE THEATRE. Horng has also appeared in VARIETY and on the FILM COURAGE channel.
