a single mom from Bamyan

Halima and Nassir, due to the local tradition of costly weddings in the city of Bamyan, are in debt. Because of this, Nassir is obliged to immigrate to Iran to earn some money. Halima works hard to carry on her life without her husband and pretends to be her 3-year-old daughter’s father. When Nassir did not return from abroad, she tries to return her husband home with the help of the United Nations. v

Director Biography - Aqila Farahmand

This is Aqila Farahmand a filmmaker. I was born in 21-Mar-1994. I graduated from school in 2014. I graduated from institute in 2015. I worked with many organizations. I worked with Save the Children from 2013 to 2015 as a volunteer teacher. I worked with RSI (Rhaman Safai International) with the project of promote of USAID program form 11-Now-2016 to 24-1-2021 as E&M Assistant and I worked with AKF (Agha khan Foundation from 27-1-2021 to 31-7-2021.
behind of my work I am a filmmaker I start my art work in 2017 I made two film by the name of A single Mom from Bmayan and A single Mom 2 from Bamyan . these film shows the problem of women.
The Single Mom From Bamyan take position in many festivals inside of my country and outside of country like Ghan film festival Australia, 10th Afghanistan film festival in Swaziland ,the second international safe community short film festival Cinema Howeizeh , 4th Mehragan international film festival ,Herat international film festival , Namyan film festival , The Sama international film festival in Sweden . also I directed the Jamila and Jafar Srial in the 8 part.
