Luis Armando Marcano is a screenwriter, director, producer and actor, with 25 years of experience working in theater and film productions. He wrote, produced and directed his first play V.I.D.A in 1997. In 2010 he participated as an actor in the series Zona Y broadcast by Telemundo Puerto Rico and years later the series was broadcast by Univision Puerto Rico.
Marcano wrote and directed the movie Todo x Sara (2014) shown at Caribbean Cinemas Puerto Rico. In 2016 he won second place in the Script Contest at Puerto Rico Horror Film Fest 2016 for his script, El Asopao Caliente. He wrote and directed the short film Ana Julia (2018). The short film won the Best Editing Award at the MABO 2018 Short Film Festival, Aguadilla Puerto Rico and was selected at various international and local festivals such as the Lusca Film Fest 2018 and Rincón International Film Festival 2020. The short was broadcast on TV Cortos (as well as worldwide as ShortsTV)
He is currently collaborating as a screenwriter in the movie filmed in Puerto Rico Escape Inutil (2023) and wrote the script for the movie in Pre-production Tacto produced by Lacus Post.
