Director Statement

Iustin Stafie is not a rich car collector. Nor is his grandfather, a 84 year old man whose only car, a Dacia 1300, is ready for another car parade hundreds of kilometers away from home. This documentary was made not for the two to show off, but to prove that many others, just like them, can give their cars another chance in a world where most cars of this kind end up in scrapyards for a few bucks, with owners who do not care anymore or are not capable of keeping alive cars which are an integral part of the country's automotive history

In 'Inca un Drum' (Another Ride) it is the passion which stands out before everything else. Iustin Stafie, a 24 year old student, has been saving money to keep his grandfather's Dacia in the best shape possible. As the story unfolds, seeing Iustin buying or seeking for car parts in shops as well as in scrapyards, makes one wonder why in the world would someone, especially of Iustin's age, care so much about a relic of the past. The answer is in the documentary above, so have a watch!
