Director Biography - Vikas Kashyapp

Hello, Vikas Kashyapp based in Mumbai. He has been active in Indian film industry from last 9 years. After studying PG Diploma in Mass communication from Amity University, New Delhi , he started working on corporate films, channel promos and documentaries for Discovery channel in different capacity.
After worked in Delhi for 3 years he shifted his base to Mumbai and got into freelancing in Tv commercials as well as feature films as chief assistant director.
He has assisted Mr. Mazhar Kamran on his directorial debut “MOHANDAS”, Mr. Gajraj Rao (code red films), Inderjit Nattoji (Blink Pictures), Lloyd Baptista, Marlon Rodriguez, Narayanshi, Wizcraft International Entertainment Pvt. Ltd on tv commercials and promos and few more.

Besides that, he strongly felt if one need to make a feature film or anything fiction, he or she has to also have to have a skills of screenwriting. And that urge led me to one of the respected Hindi film script writer Mr. Dilip Shukla where he has learnt the nuts and bolt of screen writing while working on some of his upcoming screenplays.
So this has been his initial step towards the journey. And this short film - “A Journey” is a stepping stone towards his dreams.
