Director Statement

I was inspired to create a film about Ages on Stages because, as you may see in the video, I was an improv member in the group. I saw how much joy we brought to these senior citizens every Wednesday, and I made it my task to document it somehow. I wanted to be able to show other people what made Ages on Stages so special. Though I had some film experience through my internship as a youth producer, I had never edited nor filmed on my own before. Nevertheless, with a budget of 0 dollars and a heart full of ambition, I checked out a camera and some audio equipment from my school and went to work. After spending hours watching Youtube tutorials on editing, I came up with the final video it is today. I hope you enjoy.
