Hello Jose! Congratulations on your wins for Best Documentary and our 2019 Juror's Award. We believe your film embodies the spirit of this years festival and I think our audience would agree that the judges got it right! Please keep us abreast of your travels with the film and any new projects.

  • Imagine your film screened in the Dolby Screening Room in the heart of New York City. The imagery! That sound! Those plush seats! The prestige! Got all that? There's more. Festival director Amos White & his team are super kind & organized. There will be a filmmaker Q&A after your screening block, an awards ceremony, and a party. I am so honored & grateful our Web series, The Elite 8, was a part of this fabulous festival.

I absolutely loved this festival. They do more than just screen our films in a gorgeous theater with the best projection we've had yet, but they also welcome us into a wonderful community, promote us as filmmakers, and they continue all of this after the screening itself. Definitely among my favorite experiences on the festival circuit. I'm particularly proud to have won the Best Director and Audience awards, but also thrilled to be a part of this festival itself. Thank you!
