The Academy of Independent Film Awards (AIFA) is an imdb.com qualifying festival dedicated to low-budget indie filmmakers.
We believe in filmmaking as an art form that touches the soul and demonstrates a visual storytelling style that shows courage, playfulness and skill.Our goal is to be a platform for filmmakers of any background to showcase their art.
Each submission will be considered carefully by our international jury.

AIFA accepts submissions of narrative features and documentaries, short films in all genres and feature and short film scripts.

Awards & Prizes

Every month BEST FILM of the month will get promotion, screening, interview.

Every month we'll assign one award for each category.

All Best and Finalists will receive a free certificate and laurels (pdf/png file).

Rules & Terms

All films must have English language subtitles.

All Film Festival entrants must be 18 years of age or older.

Multiple entries from the same submitter are accepted, but a separate submission and a separate entry fee must accompany each entry.

No fee waiver. All entry fees are non-refundable.

The decision of the jury committee will be final.

Academy of Independent Film Awards reserves rights to change or re-schedule the dates, venue, awards & categories without consent or information to contestants.

The organizers reserve the right not to award any or all of the prizes.

By submitting, you agree that you own all copyrights and intellectual properties to your work.

We reserve the right to use any part of your submission for promotional purposes on our website and social media accounts.
