Aaron Alon’s classical music has been performed around the world, released on five CDs, and awarded numerous national and international composition honors. Since 2009, he has also been an active playwright, musical theatre composer-lyricist, and filmmaker. His first feature film musical, BULLY (bullythemusical.com), premiered in Houston in September 2017. He is a member of ASCAP and is a founding member and president of the Board of Directors of Thunderclap Productions. He holds a doctorate in music composition from Rice University and is a Professor of Music and the Director of Music at Lone Star College-University Park and the Director of the Composition Department at the American Festival for the Arts (AFA).
