a Room of One's Own
A room of one's own began with a motif from the eponymous essay by British author Virginia Woolf. In this essay of 1928, she wrote: "A woman must have money and a private room if she wants to write novels." Furthermore, she describes the space needed for the work of an artist.
In a room of one's own, the personal spaces in which an individual exists are expressed through an experimental film. The rooms are a room, a beach, a forest, a city and a virtual space. The artist and her doppelganger exist in all rooms. The viewer is given by the wearing of VR glasses the opportunity to immerse yourself in the spaces mentioned.
