The Zodiac International film competition is a brand new online film contest. We want to see your visions, hear your voices and be moved, thrilled, scared and engaged by your storytelling.
We actively encourage entrants from all over the world with all levels of production budgets. Short films, feature films and documentaries. All genres welcome including pieces of work that cannot be clearly defined to a genre.
Films submitted will not be made publicly available so entering our film contest will not jeopardize your projects chances of entering other film festivals and competitions that require films to be unavailable online to the general public.
Short films can be in any genre including but not limited too:
Screenplay contest for short and feature film scripts of all genres.
We also have a category for music videos, 60 second movies plus technical and acting based categories for short film work including.
Our competition features both a competitive and non-competitive aspect. Every entry will be in the running to find our overall ‘Grand jury prize’ winner.
Entries will also be judged individually and given a bronze, silver or gold rating.
Bronze = 1-3 stars
Silver = 4 stars
Gold = 5 stars
Judges are all award winning filmmakers. Ranked laurels for all entries. Trophy for the grand jury prize winner with trophies and medals also available for bronze, silver and gold awards.
Winners of the script contest categories will receive an InkTip Script Listing to promote themselves and their scripts to InkTip’s entire network of producers, managers, and agents.
Companies who are InkTip members include: ABC, Anonymous Content, APA, CBS Films, HBO Films, ICM, Paradigm, Paramount Pictures, Hallmark Channel, FX, Universal, WME, Echo Lake, Zero Gravity, Bad Robot, 20th Century Fox, and many more.
Producers have made more than 315 films from scripts and writers found through InkTip.

All submissions must be via the FilmFreeway online platform. Please do not make any separate postal entries.
Any films submitted with non-English dialogue must include English subtitles.
Multiple entries by filmmakers are allowed and films can be submitted into multiple categories.
Please adhere to the running time parameters. Entrants in the 60 second movie category cannot be over 1 minute in length.
Script submissions must be written in English.
All judges decisions are final.
