Zillah-May Spiegel-Johnson is a young director, screenwriter, actor, and composer from North London. A recent graduate of the BRIT School, where they studied Theatre, Spiegel made her writing debut with their first comedy play, 'The Late Late Night Dating Show with Lauren Kimmel', staged at the New Wimbledon Theatre STUDIO.
In the summer of Year 12, Zillah-May attended the Prodigy Camp in Leavenworth, WA, a filmmaking and music intensive. During this transformative experience, Zillah-May wrote, directed, edited, and composed the soundtrack for her debut short film, 'AUGENSTERN'. The film was loosely inspired by the loss of her Grandpa on her Mothers side, and Grandma on her Fathers.
Focusing on composing during Year 13, Spiegel contributed their music to several school productions. After graduating in May, Zillah-May returned to Prodigy Camp for the alumni camp, Production Camp, where they filmed their latest comedy short, 'The Murderous Miscommunication', which will be available to watch soon.
