Zidaan Kapoor is a sixteen-year-old activist, entrepreneur, writer, and award-winning filmmaker from Redwood City, CA. His documentary short "Back to India: An Immigrant Story" has been selected as an official selection for the BRAVEMAKER film festival and an official finalist by the 2023 Clout Film Festival.
As an advocate for the food allergy community, Zidaan has been featured in national outlets and was named Young Innovator of the Year by FARE, the largest food allergy advocacy organization in the world.
He is also a member of the inaugural class of 16 Under 16 STEM Achievers and is a Rise Global Finalist, an initiative of Schmidt Futures and the Rhodes Trust. Zidaan is the founder of Fight Fears, a social impact business inspired by his personal health challenges.
He is also a classical violinist and composer and has performed twice at Carnegie Hall.
