8. Awards will be mailed to the winners who could not visit

*14 year old, Fin Zeytoonjian founded the festival and runs it with his friend Miles who also loves filmmaking. *

The Filmmaking Masterpiece Award (Best Short Film):
*The film that overpowers its competitors in entertainment, being cinematic, and making the audience feel emotion as well as understand the story very well. Decided on by the members of the Z-E (80%) and audience votes (10%)*

The Filmmaking Achievement Award (Best Behind the Scenes work):
*The film that took the hardest work behind the scenes to create. Decided by interviews of the key members talking about how the film was made and behind the scenes footage of the film*

The Filmmaking Entertainment Award:
*The most entertaining film, 100% audience vote*

The Steven Spielberg Award:
*Film that looks and feels the most like a Steven Spielberg picture. Voted on by Fin Zeytoonjian*

The Cinematic Award:
*A picture with very cinematic shots. Decided by the members of the Z-E*

The Emotion Award:
*The picture that demonstrates emotions of the story, and brings you on an emotional journey with the character. Decided by the members of the Z-E*

Best Music Award:
*The film with the most favorited and fitting musical track. Voted on by members of the Z-E*

Young Director Award:
*The best film made by a kid between the age of 7 and 10*

Any copyright issues of screened films are not the responsibility of the Z-E and this film festival.

Submitted films MUST be made by kids between age 7-16 or they are not acceptable.

Submitters may change their project after submitting it if necessary. We accept works in progress.

Submitted films must have been made in the past 2 years.
