Yuri started producing his own 8mm claymation films throughout the late 70s and into the early 80s. He then switched focus to writing and drawing his own comic books, self-publishing along the way. After nearly 28 years in the corporate sector, Yuri is now fully focused on animation and film as a means of storytelling. His latest film, "The Outcast", represents 15 months of work producing hundreds of drawings for use in the classic Rotoscope technique of animation. He is now co-producing a live-action science fiction feature, as well as a new animated short.
