South-Side Chicago native, Darvell Jones, also known by the moniker "Sain Levrad" is a singer, songwriter, producer, performer, multimedia maestro, and business owner. His artistry and entrepreneurial spirit has been influenced by his many life experiences. From his time singing and performing with the Soul Children of Chicago to his current ventures in entertainment he is no novice to the media world. Among many other achievements he has toured extensively across the USA and internationally in seven countries (Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Israel, and England). While touring with SCC he provided background vocals for world renowned artists such as Jennifer Hudson, Queen Latifah, and Darren Criss. As well as shared stages with artists such as Usher, Katy Perry, and Justin Timberlake to name a few. Darvell is a graduate of Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, where he received his Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Music Industry, and Northwestern University, where he received his Master’s of Arts in Sound Arts and Industries. He is also an alumni brother of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Men's Music Fraternity (Eta Nu Chapter). While in undergrad he participated in numerous highly acclaimed internships, apprenticeships, and workshops, with organizations like Ravinia Festival, NYU Steinhardt & Tisch School of the Arts, ASCAP/BMI, Hal Leonard, Leighton Broadcasting, and After School Matters. Darvell is now the CEO and owner of Levraddigans Entertainment, LLC, DBA, Levraddigans Studios - For Creators and Innovators, located in Chicago's Beverly neighborhood. Levraddigans is a space for Creators and Innovators to be inspired - a space meant to empower and uplift individuals by providing them with the tools and resources needed to actualize their creative visions through multimedia. We see this space as a place for people young and old to explore their interests. To interact with the arts in the ways that resonate most deeply with them through sound, audiovisuals, photo, and video. He is excited to offer, what he hopes will be an invaluable multimedia production resource, to the South-Side of Chicago, broader Chicagoland area and nation.
The highest form of human expression is that which is most authentic to one's self. I learned that truth through multimedia. Multimedia is one of the most innovative and immersive outlets known to man. Whether through microphone, lens, or audiovisual invention we harness in a matter of moments the power to capture life's essence. Whether recollections of the past, glimpses of the present or foreshadowing of the future we make a new kind of prosody that is conveyed through the marriage of audio and visual. Sound that moves the body and imagery that stirs the soul. It permits you to dream, to envision, to explore the uncharted dimensions of your imagination. It can capture the darkest nights and even the brightest mornings. It equips you with the ability to create peculiar spaces without reality's limitations that you not only can occupy but can embrace and call home. That's my mantra and is what I feel is the catalyst for my creativity and the inspiration behind what and why I create. Creating for a purpose, with a purpose in mind, completely on purpose.
