You're Somebody Else

This is my animation short I have worked on over seven months for a personal college project back in 2018.

My animation is based off a real-life event of missing people, that has never been solved, so I plan to give it a mythical twist, whilst having all the evidence at the scene within the story as if this is what actually happened, and as fairies were a popular tale then, it seemed to fit perfectly,
I linked the story to a mythical fairy/ goddess called a Morrigan as in the scene they were said to be 3 birds that flew out of the lighthouse during the investigation,
and the Morrigan usually is said to be seen as 3 crows and can turn into a human at will.

The story takes place on the day of the disappearance back in 1900, on an isolated island, far from any source of contact, the weather gradually becomes more aggressive as the day goes on, and the story goes on as mystical idea of their disappearance.

I was given permission by the song artist Flora Cash to use their song in this non-commercial Animation.
