Director Biography - Barbara Wilder

Barbara Wilder is an international actress, filmmaker, artist and journalist. She was born in Austria and is related to filmmaker Billy Wilder. She currently lives in Los Angeles where she is the CEO/producer of two production companies LAFilmAndVideo and BWilderProductions. She also works as a director and producer for the production company SherwoodPlayers.

Director Statement

During the lockdown of 2020 a few of my creative friends/co-workers and me sheltered at IRKLandStudios in the middle of the Wonder Valley desert in California.
Lacking many resources but having an unbroken passion for filmmaking, we created several projects featuring our property. Turns out spending our time during lockdown at our multifaceted film and photography location wasn't such a bad idea after all.
We shot a documentary (still in production), the short movie "Mr. Lonely" (which already won several awards) and the short movie "You're Fucking Welcome!", which soon will be released.

But we don't wanted to stop there.
That's why we decided to also create the original soundtrack of "You're Fucking Welcome!" ourselves as well.
That's how our song "You're Fucking Welcome", which holds the same name as the movie was created.
