LOGLINE: Mark’s been secretly in love with his best friend, Acacia, since they met. When Acacia suddenly goes through a breakup, Mark finds this the perfect opportunity to confess his feelings, but will she feel the same?

SYNOPSIS: We meet Mark and Acacia on a regular old day for the pair, at the theater watching yet another movie they’ve seen a million times. Per their traditions, after the movie the two walk through the park and later head to their favorite diner as Mark snaps photos of anything and everything, and Acacia discusses her relationship with birdwatcher, Lewis Bowman. Mark hates Lewis Bowman. Correction, Mark hates anyone Acacia dates that isn’t him. The pair have been inseparable best friends for years, yet he’s never worked up the courage to tell Acacia he’s in love with her. But when the perfect moment arises, that is in his eyes at least, Mark decides to make a move. Will she feel the same and they’ll live happily ever after? Or for once will the girl fight to keep her friendship with a guy as just a friendship?

Director Biography - Natalie Drew Weisman

Natalie Weisman graduated Summa Cum Laude from SCAD in June 2024, with a Bachelor's in Film & Television and a minor in Production Design. Natalie is originally from Evansville, Indiana and grew up creating with every medium of art. One of her favorite things about making movies is that so many forms of art are used throughout the entire process.
