Marco Araujo Dolado (Madrid, 24/08/2004) began his interest in film making with 10 years, directing schoolmates in short films and learning video editing.
With 11 and 12 years old he focuses his interest in the stop-motion technique creating various assemblies with plasticine dolls and other objects. In parallel, he writes several stories that they intend to use as script bases for future short films. Among them, "The Duke of Hamilton", in what is based a new project in which he has been working for 3 years.
In 1st and 2nd of the ESO, he made several short films for the institute, among them, a documentary about the Republic and the Civil War.

In January of 2017 and in 2019 he wins the Ciudad de Tudela Children's Tales Contest in his category with the stories, Doña Fina and Cocinando. This last one is the base of his first short, written and directed alone, made in the summer of 2018 at the age of 13 years.
In the spring of 2019, in his second short "La Haibtación del Piano" where the music is composed and played by his classmates from the musical group "La clave" of the music school in which he has been attending since he was 6 years old.
In 2019 he also won the XXXVII contest Antonio Robles with the story "El libreto" on which he is preparing the script for his next short film.
