Christian Woodall graduates from the South Carolina School of the Arts in May with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts. Typically a theatrical director and performer, this is her directorial debut in film. She is thrilled to have worked with Film Bros Productions on this project.
"You'll Never Walk Alone" is a suspense-filled commentary on social media in a time of high-tech crime and women's heightened awareness of our own safety. While planning this short, we were adamant that our leading lady would not be a stereotype in horror. She would not be stupid. Savannah does everything right to protect herself and still has to live her life in fear of a faceless threat. She would not escape due to her 'monster's' failures, but rather due to her own intelligence. With screens providing everyone a platform to present only the version of themselves that they want seen, no one is truly what they seem. With everyone sharing the best moments of their lives to the world, none of us ever walk alone. From fashioning this tale with our Director of Photography and Producer, to filming with our actors, leading a majority female crew, every facet of this experience has been a joy and pleasure. I hope you enjoy and take something of value from our film.
