Director Statement

"And They Will Gouge Out Your Eyes" is a semi-experimental short film about the consequences of online voyeurism. In it we follow the story of Helena, a young woman who faces the aftermath of exposing herself in webcam shows, when her date recognizes her from her online show. The film explores the relationship between sexuality and technology and the effects of this present day dichotomy on young men and women in the context of urban Puerto Rico.
