Yes, No, Maybe is reminiscent of childhood creativity and a callback to the 1990s. Throughout this film, the loyalty of friendship is tested and is reflected through the changing genres. Children are a huge source of inspiration and their boundless attempts for the impossible are astounding. The limitlessness of children’s imagination has always been a fascination worth pursuing and the nostalgia of being a child is prevalent in this film.
