YES DEAR

KEN BLACKWELL (Director) has nearly three decades of experience editing for film and television. His recent work includes Them (Season 2) for producer/director Little Marvin, Pet Sematary: Bloodlines for director Lindsey Beer. He also edited The Hunter’s Prayer for director Jonathan Mostow, The Expendables for director Sylvester Stallone and served as an additional editor on the sequel, The Expendables 2. He is also an accomplished visual effects editor, having served in this capacity on the Michael Mann films Collateral, Miami Vice, and Public Enemies. Earlier in his career, Blackwell was a first assistant editor on Steven Spielberg’s The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Tony Scott’s True Romance, Martin Brest’s Scent of a Woman, the documentary U2: Rattle and Hum, and David Lynch’s iconic television series, “Twin Peaks.”

KEN BLACKWELL has an extensive background in horror as a film editor. His recent credits include, Time Cut, Oracle, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Body Cam, The Grudge(2020), The Nun, The Bye Bye Man, Wolves at the Door, Sinister 2, Oiuja and Friday The 13th (2009). The next obvious step in his career is to write and direct original horror.
