Wren Valentino is a writer, film producer, and voice actor. As an award-winning author, Wren primarily writes gothic, urban, and contemporary romance novels and short stories. To date, he has written more than seventy stage plays that have been performed in twelve countries in three languages. As a film producer, he has helped bring more than seventy movies to the screen. As an actor, his voice can be heard in fifteen feature films. His screenplays have received recognition at film festivals around the world including the Beverly Hills Film Festival, the Chicago Horror Film Awards, the Los Angeles Film Awards, the Omaha Film Festival, and the Scream Queen Film Festival. His original scripts have placed in several screenwriting competitions including the Filmmatic Horror Screenplay Awards, FinalDraft's Big Break Screenwriting Contetest, the ISA Fast Track Fellowship, the Nashville Film Festival Screenwriting Competition, the ScreenCraft Feature Competition, and the WeScreenplay Shorts Contest. He is the author of the popular novels Fast Beat, Gollan Grove, and Motel Queen (Blue Dasher Press), the novelettes Miss Nothing and Snap Shot, and several short stories including the award-winning Halloween romance Pumpkin Love Charm, the holiday romance Warming Up, and the cozy mystery Just a Little Haunted. His literary work has appeared in Atomic Flyswatter (Long Shot Books), Disquiet Arts, Halfway Down the Stairs, Regency Reflections (Wingless Dreamer), and Wicked Gay Ways. He received a Pushcart Prize nomination for his poem Cherry Drop. For his short story Home, Wren was named a finalist in the Jane Austen Writing Contest. Wren graduated with honors from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and English. He earned a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at Queens University of Charlotte in North Carolina. He is a graduate of the Professional Program in Screenwriting at UCLA. He has been an arts educator for twenty years. He is a proud member of Disney's D23, the International Screenwriters' Association (ISA), and the Romance Writers of America. He lives in Sacramento, California where he serves as the Artistic Director of Pioneer Players.
