Jake Moody is a student filmmaker who has been passionate about storytelling for five years. He enjoys coupling his skills as a writer and director to tell stories that is not only poignant but also visually appealing. He is currently studying Visual Media at the University of Redlands.
World of Cyan was my attempt at pushing my boundaries as a visual storyteller. The narrative has no dialogue so I needed to figure out how to get a story across to an audience using only the camera and editing techniques. The film was completed as a final project for my Digital Media and Politics class at the end of the 2016 semester. The project is a largely a comment on the status of both the republican and democratic parties.
