Women without men

After the funeral of his daughter Anna, Armando announces his return in a brief phone call. The days pass but Armando never arrives - The wait becomes disconcerting - the villa becomes a prison, the people inside feel like they might crumble but they still wait for Armando. Sofia is the first to try to escape, and while she tries to come to terms with the death of Anna and the apparent vanishing of her possessions, her dispraising of Armando grows to breaking point and she makes a deep decision in the final twist of the story.

Director Biography - Lorenzo Giacinti

Lorenzo Giacinti was born on june 25 1982, in Arezzo. In 2001 he graduated at Istituto d'Arte Piero della Francesca and he also got a diploma at International School of Comics. Some months later he was among the finalists in a contest for the comic book Mondo Naif. In 2003, Lorenzo approached to the cinema,wich has in common with comics the purpose of telling stories. It was love at first sight: in the following years, Lorenzo made several short films wich won prizes and awards in many contest. In 2011, thanks to his interest in fashion and his ability to draw, Lorenzo worked for a famous brand for six years, dedicating most part of his time and energies to the company. Yet, his passion for cinema is so great that he manages to write and make a feature film.
