In Women Texas Film Festival’s four-day August event, we showcase the range and depth of female driven visual stories. Established and emerging female filmmakers will show that girls aren’t just made of sugar and spice. They got some grit and gasoline, too.

WTxFF screens films that have a female writer, director, cinematographer, and/or editor.

The festival also hosts Q&As with filmmakers, panel discussions, exclusive parties, and a gala night with filmmaker red carpet.

WTxFF was one of the best experiences I've ever had at a festival. The crew of that festival is so...giving. They want your film seen, they want you to know you've done a great thing and it should be shared. I met some incredible people and the networking was very helpful. You will hear more from this festival! Justina and her crew are top notch. I want all my festival experiences to be as good.

Working with the Women Texas Film Festival was an amazing experience. Beyond just being organized and kind, the event that they put together was interesting, innovative, and inclusive. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to apply to and collaborate with them again.

HIGHLY recommend the Women Texas Film Festival! The festival's communication, curation of films, press, and organization is stellar. And, the hospitality is through the roof. I'm so honored to have been included in this festival and can't wait to (hopefully) return with more films in the future!
