Woman's Rehab

中文简介：该片讲述一七年秋季至一八年夏季杭州市强制戒毒所女子区发生的故事。学员们都因为吸食毒品（冰毒、海洛因等）进来，在这里她们有1～2年的时间接受强制性封闭治疗，无法踏出2楼女子区的铁门窗一步。无论年轻、年老都需要接受相同的集体生活：吃饭、吃药、跳操、去劳动工厂出工、接受教育……由此，日复一日地在痛苦、歉疚、希望、等待中徘徊。

EN : My last documentary, "Woman's Rehab," tells the story of the women's district of Hangzhou City's Compulsory Detoxification Center from the fall of 2017 to the summer of 2018. There are still places in our city that are unknown to the outside world. The students here would receive a 1-2 year mandatory closed treatment and cannot get out of the 2nd floor because of taking drugs (ice, heroin, etc.). The women's area is one step. Both young and old need to accept the same collective life: eating, taking medicine, doing aerobics exercise, working in labor factory , receiving education... Thus, they gradually overcome the difficulties and obstacles through the process of day-to day drug rehabilitation.
The long-term shooting of the Compulsory Detoxification Center in Hangzhou is a life experience shared by me and drug addicts. I was shocked when I first entered this place: everyone has a similar hair style, and a dozen of people has to share a 20-square-meter bedroom where they had daily tasks like eating and drinking Lazar . People were treated inhumanely, let alone freedom.However,when I got to feel their life trajectory, listened to their stories about their marriage, children and work, I was touched. When facing the irrevocable mistake of "drug abuse", their self-reflection and discipline education in the process of drug rehabilitation gradually moved them closer to normal life and made them rehabilitate themselves. Several people was released during shooting and I really wanted to take pictures of the changes they have made after the drug rehabilitation.

FR : Le film raconte l’histoire des patientes d’un des centres de désintoxication de la ville de Hangzhou, de l’automne 2017 à l’été 2018. Les étudiantes sont placées dans ce centre à cause de la consommation de drogue (glace, héroïne, etc.). Elles y sont suivies pendant un ou deux ans. Sur cette durée, elles n'ont pas le droit de sortir. Jeunes et moins jeunes doivent accepter la même vie collective : manger, prendre des médicaments, faire de l’aérobic, se rendre à l’usine pour travailler, suivre des cours… Ainsi, jour après jour s’enchaînent souffrances, excuses, espoirs, attentes.
