Due to challenges working as a female journalist in Iran's Channel 6 news she ultimately returned to the US. She is the only hybrid journalist that has worked in both media markets and just recently produced an athlete abuse documentary which was sparked by the Women. Life. Freedom. movement regarding Iran's abuse towards its own Olympic athletes, specifically female athletes. She also does motivational speaking events while mentoring young teens. She is currently working on a follow-up documentary in connection to the "Women. Life. Freedom." movement shedding light on the mental torture and abuse she went through as a young reporter at Iran's IRIB, Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, and teenager challenged with extreme culture shock after moving from Brooklyn, NY to Tehran, Iran.
