Are you a film maker, actor, film crew member or a musician from Wollongong or the Illawarra? Or have you made a film or a music video on location here? If so, you're eligible to enter the 2019 WSFF! We're looking for talented people with a Wollongong / Illawarra connection in two age categories: 15-18 year olds, and over 18s.

We are curating two 90-minute programmes of entertaining and thought-provoking short films, documentaries, music videos and animations showcasing the unique musical, writing and film talents of this great city and the surrounding Illawarra. The Wollongong Short Film Festival promotes the craft of the storyteller, explores new media in visual narratives and is a celebration of the landscape, values and perspectives of the diverse local community.

Being held in November 2019 the festival is an exposition of the thriving Wollongong film and music scene experienced through the eyes of writers, film makers, music video producers and experimental narrators. It will elevate the profile of experienced local Producers, Directors and Cinematographers, and mine the rich seam of new artists bubbling under the surface.

PRIZES to be announced soon.
Prizes in 2018 included a RODE mic for the over 18 prize and a week's work experience at Sketchbook TV and $200 for the 18 and under prize winner.
