Director Statement

My influences are varied with pinches of Maya Deren, Stan Brakhage, Michael Snow, Sergei Eisenstein, Hans Richter, Man Ray, Luis Bunuel, and Marcel Duchamp. Other writers, poets, composers, sculptors, and painters I have met at artists colonies like Yaddo, the MacDowell Colony, Fundacion Valparaiso in Spain, Le Chateau de Lavigny Maison d'Ecrivains in Switzerland, Convento Mertola in Portugal, and Moulin a Nef/VCCA France are all represented in parts and feelings of this film poem.
