Without Water
A resilient crop-farmer endeavours to preserve his land, legacy and way of life in the face of Australia’s ongoing ‘big dry’.
In 2018 Australia suffered one of the worst droughts in living memory. After losing nearly $700 000 last year, a Victorian crop farmer desperately needs the rains to come before he loses another years harvest. If this year is as bad as the last, then the future of the family farm is in question, a farm which a father wishes to pass on to his son. Now, with the hope of rain on the horizon, he must battle the elements and dry-sow full steam ahead with his son whilst somehow showing him that farming is still a worthwhile way to live.
