With a shock wave in my ears
“With a shock wave in my ears”
By Gennady Gor (1907-1981)

Lokal Anestezi Production
Sound and vocal: Diana Deger
Visuals: Lara Yilancioglu
The poem was written during one of the darkest hours of the Soviet century-the Nazi Siege of Leningrad by Gennady Gor. With a death toll of some 1,000,000 victims and a duration of almost two and a half years, from September 1941 until January 1944, the Nazi Siege of Leningrad is one of the most significant and most publicized events in the history of modern warfare.
