Director Biography - Abby Gordon

Abby Gordon is an ASU Engineering student who has had a passion for performing her whole life. She began assistant teaching middle school drama classes her senior year of high school when she developed a passion for directing.

Director Statement

Wishing was inspired by the seventh grade drama class I assistant taught in 2019. I wanted to write a story that reflected what I wished I could tell my younger self; that you don not need to grow up so fast. I was finally able to film this passion project at the end of 2020 as my first ever short film.
