Director Biography - Sokhean Ouk

A former professional Sushi Chef, Sokhean rediscovered his love of storytelling through graduating with his BA in Media Studies from USM. After earning his MFA from Boston University's Cinema and Media Production program he became drawn to the technical skills of cinematography and went on to DP two thesis films while there. Since then he has leaned to directing his own stories centered on exploring simple human emotions and life experiences.
