Winter in Beitou / A Letter to the City

This is a short film centered around the Beitou District of Taipei City. Since I live in Luzhou, crossing a bridge takes me to Shilin and Beitou, making this area both familiar and close to my heart. As someone who loves hiking, I often spend time around Sulfur Valley, capturing Beitou's natural landscapes with my camera.

The clouds, dragonflies, flowers, silvergrass, wind chimes, small waterfalls, and even the sulfuric smoke in Beitou have all become subjects of my photography. With every press of the shutter, I feel embraced and accepted by this land. These images are not only records of natural scenery but also reflections of my profound connection with Beitou.
