Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner

Mr. Sanders is a guilt stricken man who previously had left his wife and children to starve in a famished, post-apocalyptic rural Kentucky. The film begins with a solo Mr. Sanders, who seeks shelter in his now-abandoned old family home. An encounter with an innocent farm animal as his next potential meal causes Mr. Sanders to rehash his despicable past, and face a daunting reality.

Director Statement

My outlook on film and art is to create what you enjoy. While meaning can be found in all art, you do not always have to create for meaning. Meaning is subjective to all, and it is an individual experience. Sometimes, you can create for fun or just to have a laugh. How others perceive your art is not up to you, so that it why it is important to follow your heart and soul, and choose joy above all.
