Sudharak Olwe is a Mumbai-based photojournalist who has worked on many projects since 1988. He has worked as a press photographer with some of the leading newspapers in India. Sudharak has travelled the length and breadth of this nation and seen first hand some incredible stories of resilience, courage and change. He has worked in tandem with many NGOs presenting their extraordinary work with both rural and urban communities.

Sudharak's photography is that of empathy. It is a journey into the unseen perspective of the human condition. His photography cuts across all barriers and presents to you a moving story of individuals and communities.

'Khidkya' (Windows), a 16 minute Short Documentary, is our attempt to capture this very essence of his work and throw some light on his work.This is just a short video that introduces our documentary to the world.

Director Biography - RAHUL RAVINDRA SHELAR

Rahul Shelar is a Mumbai based freelance editor and filmmaker. He was selected as a part of the ‘75 Creative Minds of Tomorrow’ programme at the 75th International Film Festival of India (IFFI, Goa) along with 75 other talented youngsters.He is currently working on his first feature-length documentary. He has worked on a couple of short films and short documentary films as an editor, cinematographer and director. Rahul is graduated from Ruia college with a specialization in Advertising and he has completed his Master’s degree from the Department of Media and Communication Studies, Pune University. He is also gold medalist in film making from pune university.
