Wild Romania
The Carpathian Mountains, the Danube River and the Black Sea, gave birth to the wildest country in Europe. The richness of this place lies in spectacular mountains, in rivers full of life, in healthy forests. Following the four seasons of the year, we will discover the life of the most emblematic animals of Romania and we will unfold the story of the most amazing natural landscapes. The journey begins with the long-awaited arrival of spring, a season of hope when most animals prepare for a new cycle of life. We will continue in summer, the season of plenty, a time when the young animals are starting to enjoy the beauty of life and accept the challenges of nature. The story will come to an end with the arrival of autumn which will turn into winter once more. The season of change will bring new challenges for Romanian wildlife, in a time when the hunters are thriving. From the high peaks of the Fagaras Mountains, to the wetlands of the Danube Delta, we will unveil the best kept secrets of Europe’s wilderness.

Dan's passion for documentary film evolved from his love for nature and photography. He was published in numerous magazines, including National Geographic, and has won various contests. He is involved in nature conservation projects along with WWF or other NGOs. Dan has also worked on some international documentaries for BBC, NatGeo Wild or HBO Europe as a director, field producer or researcher. Wild Romania is his dearest and the most ambitious project yet. It is the biggest nature photography and documentary movie project developed in Romania so far.
Cosmin started working in the field of video production out of curiosity and after a short time this changed into a real passion and became his everyday work. He is a constant collaborator of environmental NGOs, and he is involved in different video productions for nature conservation and education projects. Over time he also contributed to productions broadcasted by NatGeo Wild and HBO Europe. He is the cinematographer and editor of Wild Romania documentary, the greatest project of this kind in our country.
„There is no better time to live in for someone that loves to tell stories through photography and film. Our voice can really be heard and our vision can make a difference in the way that we relate ourselves with the natural world.” Dan Dinu
"In every new adventure I hope to discover and to film less explored natural areas. I would love to produce more documentaries like Wild Romania and to share them with nature lovers. A lot of determination and time are needed though in order to create a high quality footage." Cosmin Dumitrache
