Why We Move
Krump is a dance style that falls under Hip-Hop, and a home-away-from-home to a thriving community in Tāmaki Makaurau. Why We Move explores the reasons krumpers do what they do, both through Krump and spoken word. The 3 main creators of this project (Trenten Baskcomb-Omeri aka 12AF, Sheldon Rua aka S¢ENT.ONE and Mani Tuaga aka Savvy.B) are all active dancers in the Krump community, contributing to the growth of the style by coaching and sitting on judging panels, taking out national competitions, and even representing on international stages, too.
Why We Move is a tribute to the Krump scene in Aotearoa.
