This was a challenge, I enjoyed reading Amanda's book and decided to create something based on it when Amanda asked me.
The project was filmed in the cultural space "Communitism" in Athens, a place that hosted many cultural events for many years and was one of the last self-managed spaces in the city. The day we were filming was the last day of their stay there before the owner decided to sell it and before it probably will become a hotel.
This was a big shock for us and will bring a change that has been coming for a long time. Trying to create is what I believe is the only thing that can save us. Her Metamorphosis, the book is a very inspiring book that offers a variety of images, It was important to me to visualise my perception of the book with this short film.
