Director Biography - Helom Paulino

Helom Paulino is a Radio, TV and Internet student at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora. He had his first degree in law and was working in the area when he decided to follow his dreams and take a chance on a career as a film director. Helom worked in smaller audiovisual productions at the beginning of his college, covering events, making audiovisual chronicles and experimental videos. In the 4th period he directed Trajanos, a very short university film made into a scene for an interdisciplinary work. Movie that led the director to be nominated for his first awards!

Helom Paulino é estudante de Rádio, TV e Internet na Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora. Teve sua primeira formação em direito e atuava na área quando decidiu seguir seus sonhos e se arriscar na carreira de diretor de cinema. Helom trabalhou em produções audiovisuais menores no início de sua faculdade, cobrindo eventos, fazendo crônicas audiovisuais e vídeos experimentais. No 4º período dirigiu Trajanos, curtíssima universitário feito em uma cena para um trabalho interdisciplinar. Filme que levou o diretor a ser indicado para seus primeiros festivais.
