Director Biography - Jacob Miguel

Jacob Miguel is a Director/Producer/Editor based out of Austin Texas.

Jacob started his adult life as a musician. Progressing from Jazz student in college, to touring with psychedelic rock bands in the early 2000's.

In 2011 He stumbled upon his first gig on a film set. Immediately falling in love with the process, he spent the next 8 years working his way up the ladder learning the in's and out's of every position on set.

A musician himself, he has a passion for making Music videos and enjoys the challenge of working with any level of budgetary restriction.

He is currently Submitting his first feature length Documentary to 2022 festivals. This film focuses on music culture and D.I.Y. ethos.

In 2018 he produced an internationally award winning Feature Film Called "Here We Are". from Director David Bellarosa.

He has also been an Assistant Director on many films, TV shows and Web series.
Including the First AD credit on "Tejano" an Award winning Feature Film. from Director David Blue Garcia.
