Whispers in the Batter

Seventeen-year-old Isabella lives with her mother Kathrin in a small town. She spends most of her days with her best friend Fine and everything goes about its normal course. Director Statement

The story tells a huge problem, which manifests itself in the very small and everyday. Things that can be quickly overlooked, but have an enormous power within them. This film represents the loud racing of thoughts of a teenager. Fears that no one else is capable of understanding or would even label as banal. The film shows that in the silent often lies the loudest call. And the film is meant to be something that would have made my seventeen- year-old self feel understood.
